In the early ’90s, the firm’s principal attorney, Howard Rutten, began his career as a law clerk to United States Bankruptcy Court Judge Leslie Tchaikovsky. His early practice involved representation of Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees in the liquidation and sometimes the operation of different types of businesses and real estate ventures. This involved the filing and prosecution of hundreds of lawsuits involving every type of claim imaginable. Many of these cases involved fraud and other types of misconduct.
