This is the amended complaint we filed on July 30, 2013 on behalf of whistleblower Barbara Casey and against The American Humane Association and HBO.
The lawsuit addresses criminal animal abuse and cruelty occurring on film and television productions certified by The American Humane Association as “No Animals Were Harmed.” Ms. Casey, who worked thirteen years as Director of Production for The American Humane Association, was terminated when she resisted horses being abused and killed on the set of HBO’s Luck.
